Yes. Every account includes a monthly free allowance so you can test the API in real conditions before paying anything.
Pricing is usage-based. Each API request counts as one unit. A monthly free allowance applies first. After that, requests are billed progressively based on total usage.
You pay only for the requests you make, with full visibility in your account. By adding a payment method and using the API, you agree to automatic charges processed without additional user confirmation based on your usage.
Payments are processed automatically without additional confirmation using your saved payment method, typically at the beginning of the next month for the previous billing period.
No. If you don’t exceed free limits or make requests at all, you won’t be billed.
Yes. We ask for a Visa or Mastercard credit card upfront to ensure your account is ready for usage-based billing. You won’t be charged during sign-up — a temporary $1 authorization verifies that the card is valid. The $1 is released immediately.
Go to My Services to see API calls and approximate costs for each API key within the current billing period. This includes both active and deactivated keys if they have usage.
For past activity, open Invoice History. You’ll see billing dates, amounts, and payment status. For full details, download the PDF invoice with usage breakdown by API key.
Yes. You can stop or deactivate the service at any time.
To stop usage, stop sending API requests. No requests means no charges. You can track this in your account under My Services.
To deactivate a service and unsubscribe from any future automatic charges, go to My Services and click Deactivate in the Action column. This will delete your API key. The service will remain visible with a Deactivated status if it had usage during the current billing period.
To unsubscribe from services and any future automatic payments, deactivate services (go to My Services, click “Deactivate” in the Action column).
Please note that if your account has usage above the free allowance during the current billing period, the corresponding charges will still be applied at the beginning of the next month — during our billing period. No charges apply if there was no usage or if it remains within the free tier.
